When we decided to do a basepad for the AK, we asked around about what mags we should work with. Competitive AK shooters gave us two answers, the P-Mag (because everyone has a P-Mag) and the XTech Mag 47. The PMag sets a high standard, but in our opinion, the XTech is stronger and stiffer — ideal for a coupler system like ours.
