Tune Customer Supplied SGM Magazines – Dissident Arms

Send us your mags and we will tune the magazine for proper shell presentation.  Greatly enhance reliability with improved feeding and reloading.

SGM mag tuning is a multi-step process. We use a custom Mandrell and Heat to open the interior of the magazine bringing it back to its proper shape. Most magazines are too tight causing low shell presentation. These lips are properly contoured to aid in magazine insertion. Another small mod to ensure that mags drop free during reloads. We address potential issues with the bolt hold open lever and magazine. Finally the follower and spring are looked over and adjusted if necessary.

NOTE:  If your gun is not built by DA the function in your gun is not guaranteed.  We will however test your tuned mag in one of our guns to ensure proper function of the now tuned magazine.  If your gun is built by DA the function is guaranteed.
