Wow. If you’d have told me last month that I would be willing to spend over $300 for a handguard, I’d have called you crazy. But here we are. After trying my luck with that other M-lock handguard (you know, the one with set screws) and hating everything about it (especially the set screws) I gave this one a go. It’s amazing. Installation required no hardware and was piece of cake. This thing is absolutely rock solid. I attached a QD mount and sling and went to town bouncing it up and down. Not a wobble (unlike that other handguard….screw you, set screws). The aesthetics of this thing are really starting to grow on me too. I went with the 13″ model, becasue why not, money is stupid. The Fortis angled handstop looks and functions beautifully and I’m looking forward to adding the Cloud Defense Rein – if it’s ever released… Go with your gut and just buy this already.

excellent hand guard – looks great and pics don’t do justice for fit and quality. may want to adjust your google search key words, this doesn’t come up often for searches and lots of folks are looking for a good hand guard after the sureifres, etc dried up
